National Space Symposium 2025: “Sitaroun Se Agay Jahan Aur Bhi Hain” Inspires Pakistan’s Space Vision
On 24 January 2025, the National Space Symposium 2025 , titled “Sitaroun Se Agay Jahan Aur Bhi Hain”, was successfully held in Islamabad in collaboration with SUPARCO (Pakistan’s National Space Agency) and the Institute of Space Technology (IST).
The central theme of the event, “Harnessing Space Sciences and Technology for Socio-Economic Transformation in Pakistan”, brought together leading space technology experts, policymakers, scientists, and academics from across the country. The symposium emphasized the pivotal role of space sciences in advancing Pakistan’s development goals and economic resilience. SUPARCO, in its presentations and discussions, reaffirmed its dedication to leveraging satellite technology, remote sensing, and space-based solutions to address national challenges — including disaster management, climate monitoring, agriculture, and communication infrastructure.
